AQUASAVER is a valve that retains and compresses the air contained in the water flow. This reduces the volume registered by the flow meter (commonly known as the water meter) and generates savings on the water bill.

When the mixture of water and air flows through the pipe, the internal structure of the AQUASAVER valve temporarily holds the flow and creates back pressure that compresses the air bubbles. The meter will no longer register the air, resulting in water bill savings. In situations of low pressure or rationed supply, the presence of air is greater, generating even more significant savings.

No. Air relief valves remove air when the system is filled with water and pressurized. Otherwise, the air escapes through the easiest path (tank, cistern, faucet) and is registered by the meter.

AQUASAVER retains the air, it doesn’t eliminate it — generating up to 50% or more in savings for over 20 years with no maintenance. Air relief valves save less, have a shorter lifespan, moving parts, and contact with the environment.

There is minimal friction loss within the valve. Since it’s a closed circuit, the pressure remains practically the same as that supplied by the municipal network.

The AQUASAVER valve is installed after the meter, no more than 15 meters away, before any other valve or connection, in a horizontal position, following the flow arrow indicated on the product.

It is recommended to install it immediately after the meter for optimal performance. People with basic plumbing knowledge can install it, although for valves 1” and larger, a professional is recommended.

It is installed after the meter because the pipe before the meter is owned by the water authority, while the pipe after the meter is owned by the user.

Each AQUASAVER valve has 1 year of warranty from the distributor purchase and 2 additional years directly from the manufacturer.
